c1905 Photograph of Rector Joseph R. Norwood, then at Christ Church Parish at Eastport, Maine

From brief online research, hopefully correct - corrections and additions requested:

A photograph given at Christmas in 1905 by Rector Joseph R. Norwood to parishioner William Jewers at Eastport, Maine.

Rev. Joseph Robinson Norwood was born about April 1869 in Vineland, New Jersey, the son of Joseph Norwood and Edith (Harding) Norwood, both Nova Scotia natives, according to his Massachusetts death record

Rev. Joseph married Myrtle May Colby at Lennoxville, Quebec, in 1891. They had at least two children, a daughter Myrtle M. Norwood, born in New York about July 1892, and a son Joseph Maitland Norwood (1897-1962), who is buried in Hillside Cemetery in Eastport, Maine.

Rev. Norwood was ordained in 1893 at a Bellport, Long Island church, as mentioned in the May 29,1893 issue of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle.  By the time of this photograph, he was serving in 1905 at the Christ Church Parish in Eastport, Maine.

He served in various churches in Hancock and Washington Counties, Maine and was last enumerated in January 1920 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the household with his niece. He died later that year and was buried in the St. Luke's Anglican Church Cemetery in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
